A group of archaeology students awaken an ancient mummy. After being trapped in a time loop, the only way they can escape, is to defeat the mummy. As the body count rises, it seems the Mummy has to collect the souls of those who woke him to be able to walk the earth - for good.

Karl (Daniel Sawicki) ist Pleite ...und das ausgerechnet jetzt, wo er doch Vater wird. Da kommt ihm ein zwielichtiges (und äußerst merkwürdiges) Job-Angebot gerade Recht: Zusammen mit zwei Freunden soll er einen "Kobold-Schatz" am Ende eines Regenbogens aufspüren. 1.000 Pfund bekommen sie alleine für die Teilnahme und sagenhafte 100.000 Pfund, wenn sie den Schatz tatsächlich finden und an den Auftraggeber übergeben. Leicht verdientes Geld. Doch als sie tatsächlich auf einen Beutel voller Gold stoßen, beginnt ein blutiger Alptraum: Sie alle bekommen unerwarteten Besuch vom Leprechaun!
